Carolina Zamora

Independent Teaching Artist

Carolina Zamora has been working internationally in the arts and education sector for the last 10 years. She attended Pratt Institute for Sculpture where her self directed passion for learning began. She formed part of the Poetry Club Artspace a collaborative artspace. Concurrently, she worked at the Guggenheim museum as a museum educator and administrator. Volunteering at numerous arts organizations throughout the years like Richmond Art Center, Museo del Barrio, MoMA, Creative Time, Bring to Light and Cool Culture. Carolina was able to create arts opportunities in her native Costa Rica and Chile. In her move to the Bay Area, she began working with early childhood, at Rockridge Little School. This population has been a source of motivation and creativity. This year her work with young students inspired her to present at the AEABA creative practice exchange.
