April McGill (she/her) is a California Indigenous woman, mother, and artist with 20+ years of experience in cultural advocacy and community building in San Francisco. She is Executive Director of the American Indian Cultural Center and co-founder of the American Indian Cultural District. Her work centers on cultural equity, Indigenous visibility, and public art. April has led repatriation efforts, supported Native artists and muralists, and advised museums and agencies. She serves on multiple advisory committees and is committed to truth-telling, cultural preservation, and healing through Indigenous-led initiatives.
