Araceli (they/them) is a non-binary, undocumented artist and community organizer from Mexico City and raised in the Bay Area. Araceli has been part of Bay Area organizing efforts for youth, students, Indigenous people, immigrants, LGBTQ+ rights, working class communities of color, and abolition. As a life-long student, Araceli is dedicated to Indigenous and anti-colonial studies, art history, visual arts, and ethnographic research. In their professional capacity, Araceli has led labor land-based education programs, unionizing efforts, youth leadership development, and grassroots fundraising. Through a social and healing justice approach, Araceli is devoted to amplifying access to arts, culture and communal liberation.
