
Tracy Williams (she/her) is a multidisciplinary artist, cultural educator, and community arts leader based in Oakland. She was one of the few women customizing artwork and launching Townbiz hoodies in East Oakland during the Bay Area’s Hyphy Movement, an experience that rooted her in cultural storytelling and public art. Tracy is the founding Art Teacher at The Freedom School, Co-Director of the Dreams Arts & Activism Intern Program, and a facilitator for Ikuna’s Wayfinder Afterschool Program at Castlemont High School. She also leads youth murals, facilitates trauma-informed paint sessions, and serves as a cultural educator for the Tautahi Artist Cohort 2025 in Tahiti. Learn more at sotrace.org
