Cohort X (2019–2020)

We invited Bay Area artists, administrators, and educators to reflect on the interface of art, culture, and power in the region. By collecting perspectives from various people in its arts ecosystem, this publication maps some of its cultural topography, and where it is contoured by different forces and actors. Even as it marks the intractable challenges we face, it also offers sustenance to the Bay Area’s creative spirit.
