Lauren Marie Taylor

Next Gen Education Manager, Bay Area Video Coalition

Lauren Marie Taylor has more than 15 years overseeing and coordinating youth arts engagement programs for ages 5-22 in community and school-based settings. For ART21: Art in the 21st Century, she developed curriculum based on the PBS television series. Taylor is a trained and experienced facilitator of Uniting to Understand Racism and Social Justice Theater. She has been recognized by the Southern Poverty Law Center and Teaching Tolerance Magazine for social justice programs that transformed the school and community. She is currently the Next Gen Education Manager at the Bay Area Video Coalition, where she also teaches media production with incarcerated women.
