Ebony McKinney will be remembered for her grace and intelligence.
She listened actively, attentively, always responding thoughtfully. She asked questions; she maintained composure. She was brave; took care to educate herself; she was one to activate, facilitate and never sought out the attention or spotlight. We felt she was a great advocate for our work at the Alliance for CA Traditional Arts. She will be missed but her memory will one that we will all treasure forthe good she was able to do. May her memory be a blessing.
