Proposal Guidelines

Now in its fourth full year of operations, EAP invites you, as a member of the network, to propose and help execute a project that helps to fulfill our mission. An online meet-up, a skill-share session, a social media campaign, or big event. The arts world is your oyster!

If you have an idea that would fit with EAP, please submit a brief proposal (max. 1,000 words) with the following elements:

1.) The need

2.) Your project and how it meets that need

3.) Your proposed role and what support YOU need from EAP and/or the network to make it happen (see below)

4.) How it fits with the EAP mission

5.) A little about you and why you want to do this

The project could take many forms, but we want you to think about what could be done by this network, for this network. Challenge us, excite us, and take us somewhere new.

We would like the project to be archived in some way, either by blog, photography, or video recording. Please be explicit as to how the information will be made accessible to the widest audience.

If possible, please indicate if the project continues work within one of EAP’s core areas of inquiry:

  • Open systems

  • Networked approaches

  • Regenerative practices

  • Research and development

Assumptions and Agreements

Projects must agree to be in partnership with EAP. We can provide up to $1,000 administrative assistance and the power of the network, which could manifest in many ways. If awarded, a Leadership team member will act as your point person for the duration of the project.

Basis for Award

The EAP Leadership team will evaluate proposals based on creativity, alignment with current EAP goals, and clarity of project.

Submission Deadline & Timeline

Project proposals must be submitted to info@emergingsf.org by October 31, 2013 at 11:59 p.m. Pacific time. Applicants will be notified by November 29, 2013. Projects should begin sometime in 2014, and may be any duration.
