Adam Ryan

Assistant Curator of Photography, San Francisco Museum of Modern Art

Adam studied photography at the Rochester Institute of Technology, and continued his education at Ryerson University and the George Eastman Museum, completing his Master’s degree in Photographic Preservation & Collections Management. He worked as a curatorial assistant at the Carnegie Museum of Art in Pittsburgh, and is now an Assistant Curator of Photography at the San Francisco Museum of Modern Art, focusing primarily on the development and exhibition of the museum’s permanent collection.
